Drinking alcohol is not healthy for your body. Drinking alcohol and driving is dangerous, and potentially lethal, for you and everyone else on the road. Drinking and driving with your child in the car goes against everything parenting stands for!

A woman was arrested in Santa Rosa, California when officers allegedly found her driving drunk with her 14-year-old son in what may turn out to be her fourth DUI offense.

Holy Cow!

Sara Gamponia’s Dodge truck was weaving between lanes, speeding, tailgating and had almost caused several collisions. Officers spotted the truck while exiting the as it nearly collided with stopped traffic.

The 33-year-old also could not provide a valid license. Gamponia had three prior convictions for DUI, two of which were in 2011, and she was on probation.

Officers claimed Gamponia appeared intoxicated, and that she failed field sobriety tests and was unsure whether she was in Santa Rosa or Hopland.

Gamponia was arrested and refused to perform either breath or blood tests as required by law. She was booked on charges of DUI, child endangerment, driving while suspended, violation of probation and faces a felony charge of having four DUIs within 10 years.

Her 14-year-old son was in the truck with her. He was later picked up by his grandmother.

Let it be known that if you drink and drive with your child in the car you have a drinking problem and should seek help immediately. Gamponia needs not only an alcohol class, but should have her license permanently revoked! If you prefer to maintain anonymity there are online alcohol classes too.
