Few can deny that alcohol makes people do stupid things. How many times on the Fox television show “Cops” do you see an intoxicated person acting foolish? Drinking and driving is always a stupid idea.

Here is the story from the Chicago Tribune of an intoxicated person doing something very dumb. A man who was wearing only his underwear and socks was charged with misdemeanor DUI after he struck a squad car in Chicago, Illinois.

The incident happened at 11AM. Driving his 2010 black Honda, he eventually drove the wrong way on a one-way street and crashed into a squad vehicle that was assisting in the call.

Only Socks and Underwear

After the crash, the man opened the door and fell out of the car wearing only underwear and socks.

Twenty-four-year-old Arsenio Garcia was charged with misdemeanor DUI, using an alley as a through street, driving the wrong-way down a one-way street, no license, no insurance, failure to reduce speed and damage to public property.

Alcohol increases the likelihood of stupidity. Garcia needs to take an alcohol class and help make amends to society. If you or someone you care about has a drinking problem, please seek help immediately. If you prefer to maintain total anonymity, there are online 12 hour alcohol classes too.
