DUI Stupidity

There is no denying alcohol makes people do stupid things. Here are three stories that made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

In New Port Richey, Florida, a man was so bombed he did not realize he was sriving on three tires. A deputy noticed sparks and smoke coming from a Lexus so he pulled him over.

The driver, Kevin Blazer, 34, hadn't realized he had been driving with his left front tire missing. Blazer not only blew his tire, he blew a blood alcohol level between 0.129 and 0.131.

Sadly, missing tires didn't stop these DUI suspects from spinning their wheels. Why are these people not permanent pedestrians?

Can you imagine getting a DUI? How about getting cited twice?

Ohio-resident Cherilynn M. Waldron was convicted last week for her eighth charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The 37-year-old Waldron was previously convicted of OMVI in 1994 (two times), 1995, 1997, 1999, 2004 and 2009.

She could be ordered to forfeit the 1995 BMW she was driving at the time of the most recent offense. How about losing her license for the rest of her life?

3 DUIs in One Week

A San Diego, California man has been arrested for suspected drunken driving three times in a five day period.

Responding a report on a drunken driver, sheriff’s deputies located the man inside a bar – at 6:30AM. David Lakarnafeaux was arrested on the spot.

Deputies soon discovered that the 44-year-old Lakarnafeaux had already been arrested for the same charge twice in the past week. Good Lord – this guy certainly should not retain his license.
